I wonder if the guys who put this on SNL really know how close the farting technology they’re talking about is to being reality?

Back about 10 years ago, a company called “Digiscents” burned through about $20MM in about 15 months, trying to bring digital smell to consumers.   We were in the process of partnering with them to bring fart smells to the farts.com website at the time they went bankrupt.

And, a guy last year created “Tweet a Fart” by wiring his chair.  And, with all the iPhone and smart phone fart apps out there, perhaps this idea is not far off.

Farts should be shared, and, if you can’t be there to share it in person, why not tweet your farts?

These girls are really annoying, but it’s a good idea for a prank.  It reminds me of a bad Spice Girls video or something.  You can try this on your own if you want, but remember, fart pranks are ALWAYS better with real farts!

Could it be?  A farting commercial during the big game?  CareerBuilder.com is having a contest where you can vote for the commercial they will air during Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, February 7th.

Wouldn’t it be nice if it worked like this in the real world?  Imagine people fighting to take credit for a nice fart, rather than trying to hide and deny their farts?

I think the world would be a better place…less shame, more pride.  It’s true that we might lose some of the humor that comes with the daily fart mysteries we face, sneak attacks, and the like.  However, that would be more than offset by daily farting contests, participated in by millions, each trying to proudly claim “The Fart of The Day”.

The look on this baby’s face is great as the farts just keep on coming.  It almost looks like he’s imagining how nasty those Jr. Rippers are as they’re settling into his diaper.  The pursed lips, the flared nostrils, the wild, crazy, staring eyes…

I figure this is a good way to ring in 2010…after all, everybody loves baby farts!

Just found this great video of LeBron James farting on the Cleveland Cavaliers bench next to temmate Anderson Varejao.  You can see it in real-time from :08 seconds in until :12 seconds.  Then, you can catch it again in slo-mo later in the video. 

If you can read lips, you can see Varejao saying “Oh my god”, as he buries his face in his warm-up.  If you can’t read lips, you can read Verajao’s body language saying “Please kill me” as he buries his face in his warm up.  If you can’t read lips or body language, but can read english, trust me, Verajao is not happy.

It goes to show us all that farting is very normal in every aspect of life.  You can tell from watching this that this is NOT the first time “King LeBron” has “crowned” one of his teammates.  Take this as an inspiration and feel free to drop an ass-bomb on one of your co-workers.  It really builds team spirit!
