What is a "Low Unique Bid Auction"?
This
is a different kind of auction, where the winning bid is NOT the
highest bid, but the lowest UNIQUE bid. With a bid range of $.01
to $300, there are 30,000 possible unique bid points. If you bid
ONE PENNY, and nobody else bids one penny, then you'd win.
However, once somebody else bids one penny, your bid is no longer
unique, so it can no longer be the winning bid.
When all bids are entered, the lowest bid that has been bid by only ONE bidder will be determined to be the winning bid.
